A new submission is an opportunity to test the last round of feedback. Keep the pre-practice review short enough to use, and make the target specific enough to evaluate afterward.
When to use this guide: Use this guide immediately before a new graded attempt. Use the broader feedback guide when you first receive and organize returned comments.
Choose one carry-forward target
Read the most consequential comment from the last comparable answer. Translate it into a behavior such as explaining a contrary fact, completing every task-memo question, or keeping the rule and application together. Avoid bringing a full page of vague reminders into every session.
Keep practice conditions clear
Decide whether the attempt is a drill, supported practice, or a timed simulation. Follow the selected question's instructions. For a simulation, do not silently pause the timer or consult an outline and then treat the result as unaided performance.
Record a brief self-assessment
After writing, identify where you attempted the target and what remains uncertain. Use that note to interpret the returned comments. Bar Exam Doctor permits one essay and one PT awaiting grading at a time, according to the selected package, with a 48-hour return window; use the interval for review and other preparation.
Worked example
A short submission-cycle handoff
The prior PT feedback identifies an omitted task-memo subpart. The next practice session is about to begin, and the student has a long folder of unrelated advice.
Starting approach
Read every old comment, attempt several changes simultaneously, and submit without noting the conditions.
A stronger approach
Carry forward one target: turn every task-memo question into a visible outline heading. Record the selected question and practice conditions. After writing, mark where each requested part was answered and identify any unfinished section for later review.
Why the change matters
The handoff links the prior diagnosis to the new attempt without overloading it. If your selected package supports both types, use the one-essay/one-PT pending-submission limits and the published return window to plan review time. The interval before feedback is useful for other practice and targeted repair, not just waiting for another score.
Common mistake: Do not treat submitting the next answer as proof that the previous feedback was applied.

Use the published graded-answer examples to see the relationship between a response and its comments. If a recurring problem remains unclear, personal tutoring can help you discuss a specific passage and choose the next practice task.
Try this in your next session
Write a one-line target before practice and a two-line assessment afterward. When feedback returns, compare the grader's observations with the passages you identified.
Your practice checklist
Put the method into practice.
